Session Details
All sessions are 1 hour to 1 hour and 20 minutes and follow a consistent five-part structure:
- Warm-Up – A fun, subject-based activity to get the student engaged
- Basic Practice – Core skills such as spelling, grammar, multiplication, addition, and more
- Brain Break – A short reset with coloring or an educational game
- Instructional Time – Continued skill-building tailored to the student’s level
- Cool Down – A brief parent check-in to review progress

Out-of-Office Rates
Can’t make it to Winter Haven? Not a problem. Traditional school tutoring is also available at local libraries in Lake Wales, Lakeland, Haines City, Davenport and Bartow.
Pre-K: $35.00
Kindergarten–4th Grade: $40.00
5th–6th Grade: $45.00
Registration
All deposits are $40.00.
The deposit pays for your child’s first tutoring session.
Homeschool Tutoring

Homeschool tutoring provides structured, one‑on‑one academic support in a calm, consistent environment. Every session follows a predictable routine and is tailored to your child’s needs.
In‑Office Homeschool Tutoring (Local Families)

McCain Academy
Who We Are
McCain Academy was founded in 2026 by Alexzandra “Alex” McCain in Winter Haven, Florida. We are a small Christian microschool serving K–8th grade students in a calm, supportive environment.
McCain Academy currently serves homeschooling families, and is set to become a private school for both homeschoolers and traditional school students.
We teach Math, Reading, Social Studies, and Science using the BJU Christian homeschool curriculum, supported by Carson Dellosa Spectrum materials for extra practice. Families choose the hours per month that fit their homeschool routine.
Our school is shaped by Deuteronomy 31:6:
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.”
This reflects our desire for both children and staff to feel safe, supported, and confident in who God created them to be.
We are a Christian program, but belief is not required. We welcome all families, and every child is treated with kindness, respect, and dignity.
Where We’re Going
McCain Academy is moving toward larger facilities to offer more programs for our families and students. As we grow, we will introduce language courses, art, music, P.E., and aftercare—creating more ways for families to homeschool away from home in a happy, Christ‑centered environment. McCain Academy is billed monthly. Tuition is based on hours per month, and families choose the weekly schedule that works best for them.
Instruction can be offered on‑campus (new campus opening soon) or in your home — we bring education to you.
Monthly Tuition
- 4 hours per month (1 hr/week): $125
- 6 hours per month (1 hr 30 min/week): $187.50
- 8 hours per month (2 hrs/week): $250
- 12 hours per month (3 hrs/week): $375
- 16 hours per month (4 hrs/week): $500
Expanded Instruction
- 8 hours per month (2 hrs/week): $400

A one‑time
$100 registration fee is due at enrollment.
