Academics With Alex goes beyond tutoring. We offer a range of educational programs and work hard to meet your child’s needs. Our goal is to support every family with care, patience, and a smile.

Middle School Learning Pod

Held in the conference room of our home main office, 6th and 7th graders get to know one another and learn in a faith‑based, intimate setting. Our Learning Pod meets every Monday from 8:00–10:30 AM and every Thursday and Friday from 9:30 AM–12:30 PM. We use Lifepac 7th‑grade curriculum and include light snacks, fun games, and pizza every Friday. We also enjoy a local field trip every three months. We provide reports every 9 weeks that help you track your student’s home‑education progress.

Feel free to join us at Rotary Park every Tuesday morning from 9:00–11:00 AM for PE and Chess Club with Mr. Bracey. We’ll have plenty of hydration and snacks available.

Homeschooling made easy with Academics With Alex. 

Costs are billed based on academic hours per month. Families choose the weekly schedule that works best for them. Instruction can be offered in the office (Winter Haven) or in your home — we bring education to you.

Academic Hour Plans

  • 4 hours per month (1 hr/week): $125
  • 6 hours per month (1 hr 30 min/week): $187.50
  • 8 hours per month (2 hrs/week): $250
  • 12 hours per month (3 hrs/week): $375
  • 16 hours per month (4 hrs/week): $500

Expanded Instruction

  • 8 hours per month (2 hrs/week): $400
